Q: IS YOUR WEDDING STILL TAKING PLACE JULY 31 - AUGUST 2, 2020?
A: Our wedding weekend will now take place Sunday, May 30 through Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
q: What’s the dress code for the wedding?
A. Black-tie is welcome ie; men in tuxedos or dark suits and women in gowns or floor length dresses. For footwear, please note that there will be areas of grass and gravel to walk on as the ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to be outdoors. Sunday’s welcome party is summer chic/cocktail casual (no jackets required, please no jeans). There is no dress code for brunch - we’re just happy you’ve made it this far!
Q: What’s the deal with meals for the weekend?
A: Outside of the welcome party, wedding + brunch, we will also be providing breakfast and lunch on Monday, May 31, check the weekend schedule page for exact times/location. Please be sure to check off if you’ll be joining us for any or all of these meals on your RSVP cards once you receive your formal invitation. Cedar Lakes Estate does offer a small shop called The Canteen where you can purchase snacks, beer, wine, etc.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: While we love your kids, this will be an adult only weekend. Consider this a fun little get-away!
Q: What should I remember to pack?
A: Bathing suits, towels, flip flops, chill clothes for Monday!
Q: What’s there to do at Cedar Lakes Estate?
A: So much! Activities on site include tennis, kickball, softball, basketball, fishing, boating, a 20-person paddle board, swimming (two lakes or one heated pool), biking and lawn games like bocce ball/horseshoes/cornhole/giant jenga. All of the necessary equipment is provided by Cedar Lakes. Don't miss a chance to go on the infamous BLOB into the lake from 11:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday!
Q: If I’m staying on property, what’s the soonest I can arrive to Cedar Lakes Estate?
A: Guests are welcome to begin checking in by 4pm on Sunday, May 30. The entire property will be ours until Tuesday, June 1 with check out by 12pm.
